Three stories of passion, possession, and ink.

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Lauren Dane takes you into a brand new world in ALL THAT REMAINS. Summer Killian falls fast and hard when Charlie arrives in Paradise Village. But the heat turns all the way up when she learns Charlie is also with Hatch – the man she loved four years before. While she’s not sure she’s cut out for a triad, neither man is going to give her up.

Take a ROCKY RIDE with New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Vivian Arend as she leads you back to the Six Pack Ranch. Anna Coleman might be the law around Rocky Mountain House, but bad boy Mitch Thompson knows that under the stiff RCMP uniform is a woman with a passion for speed and pleasure that matches his own, and he’s not giving up until she’s his.

Kit Rocha returns to Sector Four in BEYOND TEMPTATION. A promise to a dying friend backfires when Noah Lennox finds that the girl he was supposed to rescue is all grown up–and wearing O’Kane ink. He wants to protect her from the secrets of their past, but she wants him. And an O’Kane woman always gets what she wants.

Just going to start this by saying..  HOLY FREAKIN’ HELL IS THIS HOT!!!  Make sure you have time to cool down after you read each of these stories and also privacy so you don’t have to worry about getting interrupted during a particularly steamy moment.

Special thanks to the ladies for giving me the chance to read this in advance with no expectations as to my review.

I’m going to write these up in no particular order as I enjoyed all of them so let’s dive in…

All That Remains – Lauren Dane

In a world where women are scarce and humanity has adapted to climate change by adopting a more open lifestyle with some focused on living in cities but more living as nomads, we meet a woman who gets to find something she didn’t think would ever happen for her.  She finds the love of her life and the man who holds both of them in check by providing a calming influence on both their personalities.  Summer meets Charlie as he comes in to the business where she works and is instantly attracted to him.  When he advises that he has a partner and would like for both of them to be a part of his life she’s intrigued but not 100% sure she is capable of being in a triad.  When she meets his partner and realizes this is the man who left her behind all those years ago which broke her heart.

Hatch regrets in many respects leaving Summer behind to travel the open roads but it was what he needed to do at the time and while he wishes he could have been with her he also knows it was the only thing he could do.  He’s struck by the fact that the man who has become part of his soul is also attracted to the woman who always has held a part of his heart even while he was he away from her.  As he discovers how strong his feelings are for her and that all he now wants is to have both Charlie and Summer permanently his, we get to see a man who makes major changes to his life in order to be the man that both of them need.

I liked the heat between the trio but I really found that watching all three of them wake up and decide what mattered was them being together no matter what they each needed to do in order to accommodate the needs they all had.  Each of them grew up during this quick story and I am looking forward to more of the world Lauren has created.

Rocky Ride – Vivian Arend

As always…  Viv is amazing at creating characters that are amazingly hot but approachable.  I love love love Anna and Mitch.  They are both amazing strong characters who realize that while what they have apart is good…  what they have together is amazing and worth fighting for.

Mitch is trying to be patient and wait for Anna to finally be willing to open her heart to him the way she’s willing to open her body to him in secret liaisons.  He’s always been labeled as a bad boy but he really isn’t what he seems to others.  He’s always been a good guy at heart but with some major rough edges and he just needs to be looked at as something other than what he was when he was younger.  As he starts to push for more from the woman who has stolen his heart he puts much more on the line than just his heart.  He knows she has a lot more to lose than he does should something go wrong but he knows he loves her and is tired of being a dirty, little secret.

Anna loves what she has with Mitch but has spent all her life trying to be what everyone else wants and is a bit set in her ways.  She’s damn good at her job as a Mountie but is always afraid of public perception tainting her career which is why she keeps Mitch secret.  When Mitch starts to press for more and push her to be herself in public she’s very hesitant but as she finally realizes that she’s actually happier now that she’s not being what everyone else wants.  There are bumps in the road with them and you want to really kill a secondary character but the way things work out made me smile and left me ready for more from Vivian.

Beyond Temptation – Kit Rocha

Like always the ladies deliver smoking hot sex with a story that lives up to our expectations.  In this case we get the story of Noah and Emma which has been years in the making.  He thought she was safe but finds out that she’s where he didn’t want her to be.  Emma is his weakness and he blames himself for what happened to her brother.  Smart man but amazingly stupid when it comes to his feelings and watching him get smacked across the head by the grown-up version of the girl he last knew.  He’s deliciously dirty but with Emma there is an edge to their play that he knows he’s been missing all his life.  He wants her more than anything and what he does to keep her safe will make you sigh.

Emma has always wanted Noah.  She waited and watched as he satisfied his appetites with other women then when she was sent away there was a part of her that never forgot the man who haunted her dreams.  Now she’s all grown up and he’s here in the flesh so she wonders if she can finally have the man who has always held her heart.  As she finds out more about him and the secrets he holds close to his chest she gets the chance to prove that she isn’t the meek little thing that needs to be coddled and protected but the woman who can stand with him to fight the battles that need to be fought.

As always I love the chance to dive in to the Sectors and cannot wait for more of this series…  a little Ace, Rachel and Cruz anyone???
